LOS ANGELES – An Indiana photographer claims a Santa Barbara website used his work without his permission.

Richard N. Bell filed a complaint on July 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Steve Strickholm and Knowledgedna alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages as a result of his copyrighted photograph of the Indianapolis skyline being used without his authority and consent by the defendants. The plaintiff holds Steve Strickholm and Knowledgedna responsible because the defendants allegedly used plaintiff's photograph and claimed it as their own.

The plaintiff seeks enjoin the defendants from further publishing plaintiff's copyrighted works, damages, statutory damages, actual and statutory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Ryan A. Hamilton of Hamilton Law in Las Vegas.
