LOS ANGELES – An Orange couple alleges a motor home they purchased had several defects that have not been repaired.

Nikki and Daryl Romano filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the Forest River Inc., Dennis Dillon RV LLC and Does 1-10 alleging that they violated the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on June 14, 2015, they purchased a 2015 Forest River motor home from the defendants and an express warranty was accompanied with the sale of the vehicle. They allege the vehicle came with serious defects and nonconformities, such as defective head lamps, paint, plumbing and other issues. The suit states the plaintiffs took the motor home to the Dennis Dillion RV for repairs, but the repairs have not been made. The plaintiffs hold Forest River Inc., Dennis Dillon RV LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly were unable to conform the vehicle to its warranties and failed to refund the price of the vehicle.

The plaintiffs general damages according to trial, rescission of the purchase contract, interest and attorneys' fees. They are represented by Hallen D. Rosner and Jeffrey L. Le Pere of Rosner, Barry and Babbitt LLP in San Diego.
