SAN DIEGO – A San Diego company alleges a Tennessee corporation has not paid for provided billing services.

Xifin Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against CQuentia Labs alleging breach of written contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 2, 2014, it and the defendant executed a written contract for an automated billing management system that was implemented and facilitated by the plaintiff, with a contract period of 36 months. The suit states the defendant failed to pay amounts due and caused plaintiff to suffer damages in the amount of $390,031.55. The plaintiff holds CQuentia Labs responsible because the defendant allegedly breached the contract by not paying the due amounts.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the amount of $390,031.55, interest, costs of suit and other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by John D. Hershberger, Sunjina K. Ahuja and Christopher Beal of Dillon Gerardi Hershberger Miller and Ahuja LLP in Carlsbad.
