LOS ANGELES – A San Francisco woman alleges a debt collector harassed her with phone calls.

Sandy Wong filed a complaint on Sept. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against El Dorado Resorts Corp. citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff states that beginning in April 2015, the defendant began contacting her in an attempt to collect an alleged debt. The plaintiff holds El Dorado Resorts Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly used an automatic telephone dialing system to contact plaintiff and continued to call after she revoked her consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Stuart Price of Price Law Group APC in Encino.
