Government alleges Los Angeles County man owes more than $100,000 for student loan

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County man is alleged to owe on a student loan.

United States of America filed a complaint on Oct. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Zaid Omran alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Omran failed to pay the principal amount of his debt with plaintiff plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $108,091.54 plus interest of $52,360.99 with interest accruing thereafter 3.88 percent per year, and all legal fees. It is represented by Jacquelyne M. Nguyen of the Law Office of Jacquelyne M. Nguyen in Costa Mesa.
