Office furniture manufacturer alleges Bartlett Executive Chair infringes its design

RIVERSIDE – A manufacturer of office furniture claims a patented designed for an office chair was used without its permission.

LF Products PTE LTD and LF Centennial Limited filed a complaint on Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Eastern Division against Blumenthal Distributing Inc., doing business as Office Star Products, and Anji Bomei Furniture Co. LTD, formerly known as Anji Bomei Furniture Co. LTD alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages to their business as the result of its patented Air Chair design being infringed. The plaintiffs holds Blumenthal Distributing Inc., doing business as Office Star Products, and Anji Bomei Furniture Co. LTD, formerly known as Anji Bomei Furniture Co. LTD, responsible because the defendants allegedly sell the Bartlett Executive Chair, which allegedly infringes plaintiff's patented design.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek enjoin the defendants from further infringing plaintiff's patent, order the defendant to destroy all infringing products, pay plaintiffs for all damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
