LOS ANGELES – A business specializing in automotive vehicle imagery alleges that a Woodland Hills corporation used several of its copyrighted photographs without consent.

Evox Productions LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Cyberset Corp. alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business from having at least 155 of its copyrighted photographs used without permission. The plaintiff holds Cyberset Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly used plaintiff's photographs on the California Rent-A-Car website, which the defendant managed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages, damages and profits, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. It is represented by Keith J. Wesley and Corbin K. Barthold of Browne George Ross LLP in Los Angeles.
