CALIFORNIA — A Los Angeles has filed a class-action lawsuit against Tradewinds Beverage Co., an Ohio business, citing alleged fraud and negligent misrepresentation.

Angerlia Martin filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated and the general public on Dec. 14, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Tradewinds Beverage Co. alleging that the Ohio business made false claims regarding their product.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from purchasing a falsely advertised product. The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant, order a corrective advertising campaign, destroy all misleading advertising materials, restitution, statutory, compensatory, and punitive damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Jack Fitzgerald, Trevor M. Flynn and Melanie Persinger of The Law Offices of Jack Fitzgerald, PC in San Diego.
