Two individuals allege they were attacked by Arizona residents' dog

LOS ANGELES – Two residents of Sweden visiting an Arizona couple allege they were injured by their dogs.

Lovisa Jansson and Alva Lidberg Lantz filed a complaint on Jan. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Derek James Mina and Lisa Marie Mina alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in Oct. 21, 2015, they suffered serious physical injuries from being attacked by the defendants' dog at the defendants' property. The plaintiffs holds Derek James Mina and Lisa Marie Mina responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn the plaintiffs regarding the aggressive nature of their dog or make sure that the dog was safely secured within its cage.

The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages, punitive damages, special damages, medical expenses, interest, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Perry C. Wander of Law Offices of Perry C. Wander in Beverly Hills.
