LOS ANGELES – The owner of several photographs allege they were used without authorization online.

Jeffrey Werner and Incredible Feature Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Talltanic Pictures LLC, Talltanic Productions LLC, Adam Sowell, Karl Jones and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages to their business. The plaintiffs holds Talltanic Pictures LLC, Talltanic Productions LLC, Sowell, Jones and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly distributed unauthorized copies of plaintiffs' photographs and publicly displayed them without the plaintiffs' authorization.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek to enjoin the defendants, statutory damages, enhanced damages, all legal fees plus interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Stephen M. Doniger, Scott Alan Burroughs, Trevor W. Barrett and Justin M. Gomes of Doniger/Burroughs in Venice.
