Discover Bank alleges couple defaulted on credit card

SAN FRANCISCO – A bank alleges that it is owed more than $7,000 on a credit card account from a couple.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on March 29 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Johnnie W. Lam and Elaine P. Lam alleging that they failed to settle their debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants were issued a credit card. The plaintiff holds Johnnie W. Lam and Elaine P. Lam responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the total amount owed to the plaintiff plus any applicable costs.

The plaintiff seeks damages in the amount of $7,547.46, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Erin E. Patterson of Suttel, Hammer & White, A.P.C. in Bellevue, Washington.
