Pedestrian sues vehicle operators

SAN FRANCISCO – A pedestrian has filed a suit against a San Francisco County woman after a collision in San Francisco.

Rex K. Dechakul filed a complaint on April 6 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Michelle Monteverde and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 24, 2016, he was walking through the marked crosswalk at the intersection of 24th Avenue and California Street in San Francisco when he was struck by defendant's vehicle. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks award for all damages in an amount to be proven at trial, pre- and post-judgment interest. He is represented by Bradley R. Bowles and Jonathan W. Lee of Bowles & Verna LLP in Walnut Creek.
