FRESNO – A woman alleges she was terminated from her job at a dental office because she reported sexual harassment.

Corryn Jelene McQuown filed a complaint on May 1 in the Fresno County Superior Court against William M. Netzley, DDS; Nick Netzley; and Does 1-25 alleging that the defendants violated the California Labor Code.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between August 2003 and Nov. 23, 2015, during her employment with the defendants, plaintiff was subject to unwanted sexual advances, lewd and salacious suggestions and comments and unwanted physical contact. Plaintiff claims she reported the sexual harassment to the defendants but was retaliated against with a reduction in benefits and termination without any cause.

The plaintiff holds William M. Netzley, DDS; Nick Netzley; and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide an employment setting where plaintiff could safely work, failed to respond promptly to plaintiff's complaints and failed to disseminate an anti-sexual harassment policy in an effective manner to their management, supervisors, staff and/or employees.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for all damages, plus attorney's fees, costs incurred, and for such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Nicholas J.P. Wagner of Wagner, Jones, Kopfman and Artenian LLC in Fresno.
