Tenant alleges that 760 Bryant LLC breached terms of lease

Contract 03

SAN FRANCISCO – A business owner alleges his landlords breached their lease.

Sang Yuo, doing business as U & I Auto Safety Center, filed a complaint on April 19 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against 760 Bryant LLC, Peter McHugh, Josephine McHugh and Does 1-40 alleging breach of contract, intentional inflection of emotional distress and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he entered into a lease with the defendants in 2011 and sought to renew the lease for an additional five years in 2016, which was granted. The plaintiff holds 760 Bryant LLC, Peter McHugh, Josephine McHugh and Does 1-40 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement to the plaintiff when they attempted to evict him from the property despite the lease being extended until 2021.

The plaintiff seeks declaration that the plaintiff's lease is until Oct. 31, 2021, all legal fees, interest, punitive damages and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Stephen M. Williams of Law Office of Stephen M. Williams in San Francisco.
