SAN FRANCISCO – The tenants of a Haight Street, San Francisco property allege that the unit is illegal.

Anthony Garcia and Natasha Aslanli filed a complaint on April 18 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Greg Mahrer and Does 1 through 10

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they began renting the property in 2011. The plaintiffs hold Mahrer and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inform the plaintiffs that the property they were renting was unpermitted and refused to address the lack of habitability of the unit.

The plaintiffs seek general and special damages, punitive damages, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Mark Hooshmand and Jenny Jin of Hooshmand Law Group in San Francisco.
