LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles textile company alleges that one of its designs was unlawfully used.

Jitrade Inc. filed a complaint on May 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Jungho Choo, doing business as Miss California Apparel and doing business as MCC and J enterprise Corp; and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its SND 1604_17 fabric design copied without its consent. The plaintiff holds Choo and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold or manufactured garments made out of fabrics that bear plaintiff's design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, award of all defendants' profits, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong and Amy Choe of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
