Milgard Manufacturing Inc. alleges it is owed more than $180,000

FRESNO – A Fresno County construction company is accused of failing to pay for glass doors.

Milgard Manufacturing Inc. filed a complaint on May 8 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Maxwell Smart Construction Inc. and Does 1-100 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it supplied windows and sliding glass doors to the defendants. Within the last four years, the amount of no less than $186,454.17 allegedly remains outstanding. The plaintiff holds Maxwell Smart Construction Inc. and Does 1-100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make payments for the said amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of not less than $186,454.17, plus interest, costs of suit and such other just and proper relief. It is represented by Wallace W. Hammons and Seann P. Paden of Hammons & Baldino LLP in Torrance.
