LOS ANGELES – A San Diego corporation and a Los Angeles corporation are alleged to have unlawfully used a textile design.

C & SM Intl. filed a complaint on May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Closet Signature and Number 1 Clothing Inc. alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its C&SM 19 design copied without its permission. The plaintiff holds Closet Signature and Number 1 Clothing Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly sold or marketed garments that bore plaintiff's design.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendants, profits, statutory damages, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Ginam Lee and Jay Hong of LPL Lawyers in Los Angeles.
