LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County employer is alleged to have failed to pay contributions to labor union funds.

Trustees of the Operating Engineers Pension Trust; et al. filed a complaint on June 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Doty Bros. Equipment Co. alleging breach of collective bargaining agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered monetary damages due to unpaid contribution. The plaintiffs hold Doty Bros. The plaintiffs seek unpaid fringe benefit contributions, liquidated damages, interest, audit costs, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by J. Paul Moorhead of Laquer, Urban, Clifford & Hodge LLP in Pasadena.
