LOS ANGELES – A Bellflower company is alleged to have failed to pay contributions to fringe benefit funds.

Construction Laborers Trust Funds for Southern California Administrative Co. filed a complaint on June 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Ricky Tyrone Grayson, R.T.G. Maintenance Co. and American Contractors Indemnity Co. citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to unpaid contributions. The plaintiff holds Grayson, R.T.G. Maintenance Co. and American Contractors Indemnity Co. responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their bargaining agreement by failing to make their contribution on behalf of their employees.

The plaintiff seeks $61,734.57 in delinquent fringe benefit plus interest of not less than $734.57; the sum of at least $12,395.52 in liquidated damages; audit costs; all legal fees; and any other relief as this court deems just.
