Mission Constructors alleged to have failed to pay contributions to labor union funds

SAN FRANCISCO – A California corporation is alleged to have failed to pay employee contributions as outlined in a bargaining agreement.

Operating Engineers' Health and Welfare Trust Fund for Northern California, et al. filed a complaint on June 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Mission Constructors Inc., Isabelle Aquine Concio and Jaime Maciel Gonzalez

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages due to unpaid and late-paid contributions. The plaintiffs holds Mission Constructors Inc., Concio and Gonzalez responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay all contributions reported for August 2016 and failed to report and pay contributions for May 2017.

The plaintiffs seek all unpaid contributions, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Michele R. Stafford and Edward D. Winchester of Saltzman & Johnson Law Corp. in San Francisco.
