SAN FRANCISCO — The U.S. government is suing a California woman, alleging breach of contract in owing more than $15,000.
The United States of America filed a complaint Aug. 29 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Bonita N. Nielsen, alleging failure to to settle her debt with the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the United States suffered monetary damages because Nielsen has failed to settle her debt to the plaintiff including interest.
The U.S. seeks seeks $15,112.41, additional interest to the date of judgment, attorney fees of 33.33 percent of the debt and all other legal fees. They are represented by attorney Michael Cosentino of Alameda.
