FRESNO — A Fresno County family is suing vehicle owner and driver, alleging negligence caused a vehicle crash.
Raymond E. Armbrister, Nina Travis, Justin Armbrister and Jordan Armbrister filed a complaint Sept. 5 in Fresno County Superior Court against Brenda Kay Sears and Robert Forrest Sears, alleging they failed to exercise care in the operation of their vehicle.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 12, 2015, while traveling to Clovis Avenue, the plaintiffs' car driven by Raymond Armbrister was struck by the defendants' vehicle driven by Brenda Kay Sears. As a result, they say they suffered physical injuries and emotional distress and incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiffs allege Brenda Kay Sears drove the car, owned and inspected by Robert Forrest Sears and operated the vehicle in such a way as to cause a collision with another vehicle.
The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, more than $25,000 for compensatory and punitive damages, plus cost of suit, and all fair, just and equitable relief. They are represented by attorney David L. Milligan of Law Office of David L. Milligan in Fresno.
