Motorist blames another driver for injuries

Car accident 11

FRESNO — A motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Silvia Wahyudi filed a complaint Nov. 17 in Fresno County Superior Court against Nereo Gonzales Tovar, alleging the motorist failed to exercise standard care and skill required to operate a vehicle.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 20, 2015, Wahyudi has suffered injuries and significant damages, including wage loss, loss of use of property, and hospital and medical expenses. The suit says this was due to Tovar's negligent ownership, maintenance, operation, and/or otherwise association with a Mercedes that collided with Wahyudi's car.

The plaintiff alleges Tovar failed to adequately maintain and operate the motor vehicle so as not to cause harm, and failed to be on a proper lookout for other vehicles.

Wahyudi seeks trial by jury, compensatory and punitive damages of more than $25,000, costs of suit and all other fair relief. She is represented by attorney Roger S. Bonakdar of Bonakdar Law Firm in Fresno.
