Cyclist seeks damages from driver who struck her while in Fresno crosswalk

FRESNO – A cyclist alleges she was injured when she was struck by a vehicle in Fresno.

FRESNO – A cyclist alleges she was injured when she was struck by a vehicle in Fresno.

Kaylee Gudino filed a complaint June 14 in Fresno County Superior Court against Andrew Estrada and Does 1-100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 11, 2017, she was riding her bicycle on Peach Avenue in Fresno near its intersection with Iowa Avenue when the defendant struck her with his vehicle while she was in a marked crosswalk.

The plaintiff holds Estrada and Does 1-100 responsible because Estrada allegedly negligently maintained and operated his vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Darrel R. Rustigian of Darrel R. Rustigian APC in Fresno.
