FRESNO – A driver alleges another motorist was distracted by a cellphone and caused a collision in Fresno County.
Richard Korkis filed a complaint on July 10 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Madison Mayer alleging malice.
According to the complaint, on July 23, 2016, Korkis was driving in Fresno County when his vehicle was allegedly struck by defendant Mayer's vehicle and he was injured. The plaintiff alleges the defendant was using a cellphone at the time of the collision and was distracted.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory and punitive damages according to proof. He is represented by Frank M. Nunes of Law Offices of Frank M. Nunes Inc. in Fresno.
