BENESCH FRIEDLANDER COPLAN ARONOFF: Benesch Partners Reelect Eisenberg as Managing Partner for Third Term

Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP issued the following announcement on May 1.

Benesch announced that Gregg A. Eisenberg has been reelected Managing Partner of the firm for an unprecedented third time, for a four-year term beginning in 2021. The partnership decided on this reelection two years ahead of the actual date to commence Eisenberg’s third-term.

Under Eisenberg’s leadership, Benesch has thrived with over 70 attorneys having joined the firm in the last 18 months alone, the opening of the San Francisco office in early 2019 and the opening of the Chicago office in 2015, which is now home to over 50 attorneys. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, Benesch has advanced 15 places and is currently ranked at number 180.

Kaplan, Chairman of Benesch. “Thanks to his strong management and his unwavering commitment to always enhancing client service, Benesch is flourishing. In addition to serving as Managing Partner, Eisenberg maintains and active corporate practice. He represents some of the nation’s largest and most active corporate buyers and private equity firms. Many of Eisenberg’s clients seek his advice for their Boards of Directors and for significant strategic matters.

Eisenberg received his B.A. magna cum laude from the Univeristy of Rochester and his J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He and his wife, Regina, reside in Moreland Hills with their two children, Max, 12 and Sophia, 10. Eisenberg currently serves on a number of client boards and is actively involved in community affairs.
