Class action claims Adobe shorted worker pay, other alleged CA labor law violations

An employee at Adobe has filed a class action lawsuit against the software maker, claiming they shorted worker pay, amid other alleged violations of California labor law.

Plaintiff Jeanne Boudreau filed a class action lawsuit on Dec. 15, alleging multiple violations of California labor law.

The allegations include unpaid minimum wages, unpaid overtime, meal break violations, rest break violations, untimely payment of wages during employment, wage statement violations, untimely final wages, failure to reimburse necessary business expenses and violation of the California Business & Professions Code.

The case was filed in San Francisco County Superior Court.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages, including payment of allegedly lost or underpaid wages, as well as statutory damages, civil penalties and punitive damages, plus attorney fees, among others.

 Boudreau is represented by attorneys Jonathan M. Genish, Barbara DuVan-Clarke, Alexander K. Spellman and P.J. Van Ert, of the firm of Blackstone Law APC, of Beverly Hills.
