SAN FRANCISCO – A Massachusetts woman alleges she is owed several hundred thousand dollars in unpaid wages from her former employer.
Sandra L. Connolly filed a complaint on April 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against I2a Technologies Inc. and Victor A. Batinovich alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she is owed more than $140,000 in unpaid wage and compensation claims from the defendant. The plaintiff holds I2a Technologies Inc. and Batinovich responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay proper wages as well as overtime wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages plus interest, liquidated damages equal to the unpaid minimum wages, earned but unpaid wages, prejudgment interest at 10 percent rate for all unpaid overtime compensation, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Tomas E. Margain and Huy Tran of Justice at Work Law Group in San Jose.
