SACRAMENTO – A San Joaquin County woman alleges she was injured when a vehicle she was traveling in struck a curb.
Linda Koenig filed a complaint on Aug. 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Marriot International Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 14, 2014, she was a passenger in a courtesy shuttle owned by the defendant. She alleges she sustained physical injuries when the vehicle collided with a curb, causing her to be thrown out of her seat and into the floor of the vehicle. The plaintiff holds Marriot International Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly was negligent in the operation of the vehicle.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Randy E. Thomas, Barbara J. Thomas, and Jeannie I.
