LOS ANGELES – Former employees for an Idaho grocery store chain allege they are owed unpaid overtime and have filed a class-action suit.

Nicole Corey and Mike Meraz filed a complaint on behalf of all other similarly situated individuals on Sept. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Winco Holdings Inc. and Does 1 through 50 citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they received a yearly wage bonus but that bonus was never included into their regular rate of pay for overtime calculation. The plaintiffs hold Winco Holdings, Inc., and Does 1 through 50 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiffs the correct overtime rate.

The plaintiffs seek damages from the unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, all legal fees and interest and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Mark R. Thierman, Joshua D. Buck and Leah L. Jones of Thierman Buck LLP in Reno, Nevada.
