LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County woman is alleged to have defaulted on her student loans.
United States of America, on behalf of the Department of Education, filed a complaint on Sept. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Vivian Nichols alleging that the individual failed to settle her debt with plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Nichols responsible failed to settle her debt with plaintiff, plus interest.
The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $4,806.37 plus interest of $10,674.24 with interest accruing at the daily rate of $1.07, administrative charge, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
