LOS ANGELES – A digital content provider alleges a Redondo Beach company used several images from its catalog without authorization or payment on its website.
Getty Images (US) Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against LTS - Legal Technology Staffing LLC, alleging copyright infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its copyrighted images used without authority. The plaintiff holds LTS - Legal Technology Staffing LLC, responsible because the defendant allegedly reproduced and displayed in public plaintiff's copyrighted images without permission.
The plaintiff seeks enjoin the defendant from further infringing plaintiff's copyrights, actual damages, profits, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Scott T. Wilsdon of Yarmuth Wilsdon PLLC in Seattle, Washington.
