Zenobia Inc., Dhstyles LLC alleged to have used copyrighted design in garments

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles company alleges its exclusive fabric designs were used in garments without its permission.

Unicolors Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against The Zenobia Inc., Dhstyles LLC and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its two-dimensional graphic artwork used on other fabrics without its consent. The plaintiff holds The Zenobia Inc., Dhstyles LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly sold garments using fabrics that bear plaintiff's designs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendant, award plaintiff all profits, statutory damages, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
