LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles entertainment photojournalism provider alleges its photos were used on a website without its permission.
FameFlynet Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against TALI Corp. alleging copyright infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its photographs used without its consent. The plaintiff holds TALI Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly displayed plaintiff's copyrighted photographs on its website mybkr.com.
The plaintiff seeks statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringement, actual damages, disgorgement, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Craig B. Sanders of Sanders Law PLLC in Garden City, New York.
