LOS ANGELES – A South Korea-based company alleges its fabric designs were used without authorization in garments.
C&SM Int'l. filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the Lovej Corp., Jung Mu Ryu, RJ Annabelle Inc., G-Stagelove.com Inc., Ross Stores Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Lovej Corp., Jung Mu Ryu, RJ Annabelle Inc., G-Stagelove.com Inc., Ross Stores Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly offered for sale garments using fabrics that contain plaintiff's designs.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants from further infringing plaintiff's copyrights, award all profits and damages to the plaintiff, all legal fees plus interest and any other relief as the court deems just.
