TV station alleges MundoMax Broadcasting has not paid marketing expenditures

Contract 01

LOS ANGELES – A Chicago-based television station alleges a Miami broadcaster with offices in Los Angeles has not paid them per their contract.

KM LPTV of Chicago-13 LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against MundoMax Broadcasting LLC, formerly known as MundoFox Broadcasting LLC, RCN M.F. Holdings Inc. and Does 1-5 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and the defendants entered into a contract for the plaintiff to be affiliated with the defendants' network from August 2012 to July 2016. The plaintiff holds MundoMax Broadcasting LLC RCN M.F. Holdings Inc. and Does 1-5 responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay them for marketing expenditures and for national advertising sales revenue.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, restitution, disgorgement, punitive damages, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Gerard P. Fox and Belinda M. Vega of Gerard Fox Law PC in Los Angeles.
