LOS ANGELES – A Santa Fe Springs aftermarket car care product company alleges it has not infringed a Huntington Beach company's patents.
Total Import Solutions Inc., doing business as Nanoskin Car Care Products, filed a complaint on Dec. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Surf City Garage Brands LLC and Timothy D. Miller seeking declaratory relief.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants made false claims that the plaintiff is infringing their patents despite having dissimilar designs.
The plaintiff seeks declare that it does not infringe plaintiff's patents, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by David M. Stein, Evan W. Woolley and Michael D. Wilburn of Alston & Bird LLP in Los Angeles.
