LOS ANGELES – A man alleges his overtime compensation was not calculated with his bonuses.
Alfonso Valadez filed a complaint on behalf of other similarly situated on Jan. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against California Commerce Club Inc. and Does through 10 citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked as an employee and that his bonuses weren't factored into his overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds California Commerce Club, Inc.; and Does through 10 responsible because the plaintiff alleges his overtime was not based on his regular rate of pay.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Ari E. Moss of Moss Bollinger LLP in Sherman Oaks and Sahag Majarian II of Law Offices of Sahag Majarian II in Tarzana.
