Law money 05

SANTA ANA – A former loan agent at an Anaheim call center alleges he was not paid overtime wages or provided rest breaks during his employment.

Tuan Vo filed a complaint on behalf of similarly situated aggrieved employees on Jan. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Southern Division against LoanMe Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant from July 2014 to January 2016. He alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime wages and without being provided adequate meal and rest breaks during his employment. The plaintiff holds LoanMe Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly made unlawful deductions to plaintiff's pay as well as failed to keep an accurate time record for their employees.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, restitution, unpaid overtime wages, unpaid compensation for meal and rest periods that were not taken, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Dale M. Fiola of Dale M. Fiola Attorney at Law in Anaheim.
