LOS ANGELES – An architectural landscape firm in Los Angeles claims two Sun Valley corporations unlawfully used its photos.

The Green Scene filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Pacific Pavingstone Inc. and Pacific Outdoor Living Inc. alleging copyright infringement and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its copyrighted photos used without its permission. The plaintiff holds Pacific Pavingstone Inc. and Pacific Outdoor Living Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly placed a photograph of the plaintiff's work on their website and despite being notified by the plaintiff regarding the infringement, continued to use plaintiff's photos on multiple occasions.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks profits, disgorgement, temporary restraining order, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. It is represented by James R. Felton of Greenberg & Bass LLP in Encino.
