LOS ANGELES – A Vernon business alleges one of its textile designs was used without its permission.
Unicolors Inc. filed a complaint on March 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Miss Love Inc., Elizabeth Kang, Zulily LLC and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from having its NR 764 design copied. The plaintiff holds Miss Love Inc., Kang, Zulily LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly distributed garments that feature plaintiff's fabric designs without authorization.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, all profits, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by C. Yong Jeong, Amy J. Choe and Ryan N. Ostrowski of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
