EDCO Plastics alleges E-Z Line infringed upon patents

Patents 06

LOS ANGELES — A California corporation is suing Georgia corporation, citing alleged patent infringement.

EDCO Plastics Inc. filed a complaint on March 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against E-Z Lettering Service, d/b/a E-Z Line; Euroma International Inc.; and Does 1-10,  alleging that they sell products to consumers that were made using a method that infringes upon the plaintiff's patents.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that EDCO Plastics suffered damages to its business as the result of its patent being infringed. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly supplied their customers with products that infringe upon the plaintiff's patents therefore inducing them to also infringe upon the plaintiff's patents.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks injunction against the defendant, three times the damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as this court deems just. The company is represented by David R. Flyer and Raquel Flyer of Flyer & Flyer in Newport Beach.
