Man claims injuries after collision with tractor-trailer in Arizona

LOS ANGELES – A Riverside County man alleges he was injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer.

Christopher Romero filed a complaint on March 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Covenant Transport Inc., Covenant Transportation Group Inc., Kelon Dominic, Lourdes Dominic and Does 1 through 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 20, 2015, he was traveling on Interstate 40 in Winslow, Arizona when Kelon Dominic made an unsafe lane change and collided with the plaintiff's vehicle. The suit states Kelon Dominic and Lourdes Dominic were employed by Covenant as co-drivers and were driving a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

The plaintiff holds Covenant Transport Inc., Covenant Transportation Group Inc., Kelon Dominic, Lourdes Dominic and Does 1 through 100 responsible because Kelon Dominic failed to exercise reasonable care.

 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks general damages, medical and incidental expenses, loss of earnings, special damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Wayne McClean of Law Office of Wayne McClean in Woodland Hills.
