Foundation Law Group claims law office is using the Foundation mark without authorization

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles national law firm alleges a Sacramento law firm is unlawfully using its trademark.

Foundation Law Group LLP filed a complaint on March 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Weiru Wang, Foundations Law Office and Does 1-10 alleging trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has been using its Foundation Law mark since 2013 and that the defendants began using it in 2014. The plaintiff holds Wang, Foundations Law Office and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly have caused confusion among the plaintiff's customers with the use of the Foundation mark and is using the mark without permission.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, treble damages, injunctive relief, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Gregg Zucker and Sevag Demirjian of Foundation Law Group LLP in Los Angeles.
