LOS ANGELES – An individual alleges Nordstorm and others has caused a loss of sales from their unlawful use of his trademark.
Erik Brunetti filed a complaint on March 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Arcadia Group (USA) Limited, Nordstrom Inc. and Project Social T LLC alleging trademark infringement and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he registered his Horned Hand logo in 2010 for clothing. The plaintiff holds Arcadia Group (USA) Limited, Nordstrom Inc. and Project Social T LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly sell products that bear plaintiff's Horned Hand mark.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendants, lost profits, actual damages, disgorgement, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by John R. Sommer and Devon A. Beckwith of John R. Sommer, Attorney at Law in Irvine.
