SAN DIEGO — A technology corporation is suing HTC Corporation and HTC America Inc., a Taiwan business and its American entity, citing alleged patent infringement for mobile navigation technology.
InfoGation Corp., headquartered in San Diego, filed a complaint on March 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against the defendants alleging that they offer products and/or services that infringe plaintiff's patent.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business and holds HTC responsible because it allegedly sells mobile technology to consumers that infringe several of plaintiff's patent claims.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary damages, interest, permanent injunction, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Michael L. Kirby and Heather W. Schallhorn of Kirby & Kirby LLP in San Diego.
