Former employee alleges Envoy Air failed to pay minimum, overtime wages

LOS ANGELES – Envoy Air Inc. is facing a class action from a former employer over allegations it violated labor codes.

Tamara Jackson filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Envoy Air Inc. and Does 1 through 10 citing state labor codes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendants as an operations agent at Los Angeles International Airport from February to July 2016. The plaintiff holds Envoy Air Inc. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate meal and rest breaks to the plaintiff during her employment and failed to pay overtime wages and minimum wages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, restitution, liquidated damages, enjoin the defendants, statutory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just.
