SAN FRANCISCO – A woman alleges she was injured because an elevator stopped in a misleveled position.

Linda Cohn filed a complaint on March 29 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against 155 Montgomery Street Associates LLC, CBRE Inc. Kone Corp. and Does 1 through Does 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, 2015, she was visiting the defendants' property and suffered physical injuries due to the dangerous condition of the elevator. The suit states the elevator failed to stop evenly with the floor, causing the plaintiff to trip and fall.

The plaintiff holds 155 Montgomery Street Associates LLC, CBRE Inc., Kone Corp. and Does 1 through Does 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of the elevator.

The plaintiff requests seeks general damages, all medical and incidental expenses, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Zachary J. Shepard of Glickman & Glickman in Beverly Hills.
