SAN FRANCISCO – A Millbrae resident alleges a property he owns was damaged by construction work.

Inam Shami, individually and as trustee of the survivor's trust of the Shami Family 1995 Trust, filed a complaint on March 29 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Scott Ennis, Nelson Jameson Construction, Baires Construction, AZ Design & Engineering and Does 1-20 alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges a property in San Francisco that he owns was damaged in 2016 by construction work done on a neighboring property. He alleges the chimney, foundation and interior of the property were damaged.

The plaintiff holds Ennis, Nelson Jameson Construction, Baires Construction, AZ Design & Engineering and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to exercise care while performing their construction work around the plaintiff's property.

The plaintiff seeks damages, enjoin the defendants, punitive damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Scott A. Freedman of Zacks, Freeman & Patterson PC in San Francisco.
